About the Event
Join us for a seven-week program designed to help you understand what to expect in your new role as a people leader, and to identify some things you can start doing now to help yourself succeed in the new role.
We will get together for an introductory conversation the first week to introduce ourselves, and talk in more detail about the format of the program. Following our introductory conversation, you will receive a link to a 30-minute video on the course content for the following topic to be viewed at your convenience. In our following 60-minute class, we will discuss the content, and the out of class work completed after viewing the content presentation, as well as addressing any thoughts/questions that came out of the content presentation.
We will cover the following topics:
· What Does It Mean to Be a Good People Leader?
· What Are the Jobs of a People Leader?
· Making the Transition to Being a People Leader
· Unexpected Responsibilities
· Preparing for the "Not so Fun"
· What You Can Start Doing
We will meet via Zoom Tuesday nights from 6-7 pm (Central time) from August 3 - September 14.
Register if you'd like to join us. The number of participants is limited. Registration fees ($600) can be paid via credit card, bank transfer, Apple Pay or Venmo (you will receive further instructions upon registration).
